Privacy Policy
The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999 requires providers of
personal financial services, including tax returns, to inform their clients of
their policies regarding privacy of client information. CPAs have
been and continue to be bound by professional standards of confidentiality that
are even more stringent than those required by this law.
Also, §7216 of the Internal Revenue Code prohibits the unauthorized
disclosure of tax return information.
