John N. Rallis II, CPA

 

John is a Certified Public Accountant (Florida) and Managing Shareholder of  RALLIS * SEGUNDO, P.A.

From 1993-2001 he was Managing Partner of Rallis & Perez, P. A., a CPA firm he co-founded after serving in the Middle Market Audit practice at Price Waterhouse.

John has also served as Principal Consultant in the Tax and Legal Services Division of PricewaterhouseCoopers.  He was also Director of Taxation for an Orlando law firm.

His practice focuses on taxation issues for business entities and their owners, the financially independent, and foreign nationals investing in the US.  He also supports the legal profession with litigation support and expert witness services.

In 2005, John formed NCR EXCHANGE GROUP LLC, a "qualified intermediary" for Section 1031 ("like kind") exchanges.

John has a BBA from Emory University, an MBA from the University of Florida, and has done post-graduate work in Taxation at the University of Central Florida.  Twice recognized as a "PricewaterhouseCoopers All-Star," he has also lectured as an instructor in the PwC Continuing Professional Education program.

He is a frequent keynote speaker to professional and civic organizations, most recently addressing the Turnaround Management Association regarding the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.

John has served on the Board of Directors for Hospice of Central Florida, the YMCA-Osceola, and Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (where he directs the choir).  He has also volunteered with the Heart of Florida United Way (as a Loaned Executive and Member of the Finance Committee), the Downtown Orlando Rotary Club, and MD Anderson's Ambulatory (Cancer) Treatment Center.

He was recognized in 1996 by Marquis Who's Who in Industry and Finance and again in 2004 by National Register's Who's Who.  

He  is a Member of both the Tax Section and the Personal Financial Planning Section of the American Institute of CPAs and a past Member of the Professional Resources Network of the Small Business Development Center at UCF (a service provider of the Disney/SBA National Entrepreneur Center (NEC)). 

John is also active in education, serving as an Adjunct Professor of accounting and finance at Valencia Community College and coordinates the Internship Program on Valencia's West Campus.

In addition to his duties at Rallis * Segundo, John is also Chief Financial Officer and Senior Professional Partner at Allgen Financial Services, Inc., a money management firm headquartered in Orlando concentrating on retirement and estate planning.
